PrecisionDemand Data Privacy Policy

We value the privacy of our clients and their customers. We take every precaution to ensure that the privacy of our clients and their customers is safeguarded. This policy covers the treatment of the Personally Identifiable Information that is ingested as part of our integration and ongoing processes.

Information Collection and Use

Our primary purpose for collecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is to provide our clients with the full intelligence and targeting capabilities of our services.

Personally Identifiable Information refers to any information that may be used to identify an individual, such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, etc. The types and amount of PII collected will vary depending on the activity and purpose.

Non-PII refers to information, which cannot be used to identify an individual. This type of information may be gathered through aggregated tracking information from website tracking, call center response logs, retail point-of-sale data, or other order fulfillment data.  This Non-PII collected includes click-through events, IP addresses, usage data, area code, ZIP code, or other broad geographical data. This Non-PII allows PrecisionDemand to enrich the breadth of the data and provide a more complete picture of customer activity in aggregate.

PrecisionDemand receives Personally Identifiable Information from our business partners and clients in the course of providing services directly to our clients.

PrecisionDemand uses information for five general purposes: (1) identifying distinctive characteristics in aggregate for consumers of PrecisionDemand advertisers; (2) identifying distinctive characteristics in aggregate of media properties; (3) matching aggregate characteristics of consumers to media properties with the intent of intelligently advertising; (4) attributing revenue events to advertising sources that generated awareness or intent; (5) reporting back to clients aggregate customer intelligence and media performance.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We provide information we receive from clients to trusted businesses, partners, or persons for the purpose of processing Personally Identifiable Information on our behalf for performing our services and other purposes identified above.

PrecisionDemand shares Non-PII in anonymous aggregate form with partners and other trusted businesses. This Non-PII is used by these third parties to help PrecisionDemand improve the PrecisionDemand service.

PrecisionDemand will not share, rent, or trade PII with third parties for their promotional purposes.

PrecisionDemand will not directly market to customers using any PII collected.

PrecisionDemand does not display any PII via external portals for reporting purposes.  All information is provided in aggregate in the PrecisionDemand portal.

File Exchange and Data Transmission

PrecisionDemand uses secure file and data transmission mechanisms for PII data. Files are exchanged with PrecisionDemand in a secure and authenticated manner. These files should be compressed and encrypted according to the feed exchange protocols outlined by PrecisionDemand during client or business partner integration.

Internal Access Policy

All systems are protected by the PrecisionDemand firewall.

Access to PII internally by PrecisionDemand employees or trusted business partners is limited to use required in the course of fulfilling the services that PrecisionDemand provides.  This includes: (a) production operation of the backend database and systems, such as troubleshooting, operational fulfillment working with partners; (b) service personnel working directly with clients to exchange data.

All personnel are prohibited from sending PII-related information via email or other unsecured channels. All PII data are ingested into password- and firewall-protected systems.

A minimum set of technical staff are allowed access to product systems containing PII data, with the sole purpose of maintaining operations of the system.

All systems are password-protected and require explicit login provisioning for access.
